DANCE
PROGRAMMES AT THE CENTRE
Dance
Classes for recreational enjoyment are taught by professional instructors
at evenings and weekends -- quality dance experiences to increase
individual body awareness, fitness and co-ordination in an atmosphere
of fun and rejuvenation;
Modern
dance forms including Contemporary Dance,
release technique, hip-hop, jazz, Salsa, and others; plus
special weekend courses.
Quieter sources of movement-including special courses in yoga
and massage; and popular
forms of dance for children, teens and adults: Special Intensive
Dance courses at School Holidays
and during the summer months.
THE
FACILITIES / STUDIO FOR HIRE
In
addition to the Programmes at the Centre the Studio is available
for hire. This facility comprises:

airy and brightly lit professional dance studio, 12mX16.9m (40ft
x 55 ft) with sky lighting

system using CD, cassette, mini disc, Mp3 players, iPhones and laptops

DUBLIN YOUTH DANCE COMPANY
- Dublin Youth Dance Company is a professionally directed dance
group for young people seeking involvement in choreography, rehearsals

Georges Street at the Bloomfields Shopping Centre Plaza in Dun
Laoghaire town Centre (across from St. Michael's Hospital.) It
is near the Ferry Terminal, Harbour, retail shops and cinema in
one of Dublin's fastest growing population areas.Easily reached
by DART (Dun Laoghaire stop), Bus (7, 7A, 8, 75, 45A, 46A, 59,
111) or by car(off street parking at Bloomfields Centre and IMC
Cinema car parks). Entrance is from street level, Lwr Georges
St. at the Bloomfields Plaza, immediately to the left of the IMC
Cinema.

POP
Dance Theatre of Ireland is available to teach dance workshops for your school, group or event through our Dance Performance Outreach Programme (DANCE POP). The workshops provide and exhilarating and creative experience in dance and are accompanied by world and popular music.

rates for block bookings of 10 or more to Dance Theatre of Ireland
Performances are also available through Dance Theatre of Ireland's Outreach
Programme DANCE POP.
