Dance Theatre of Ireland is a Registered Charity with a very simple mission of Transforming people's lives through Dance.  With your help we are able to share the vibrancy of Dance with people of ALL AGES through performances, workshops and classes.

If you’ve danced across our studio, attended a DTI performance, collected a beaming child from class, participated in a workshop or stretched at our ballet barres, then you know power of dance to bring joy to people's lives.

Please help us to continue to teach, engage and inspire you and others. Your contribution helps our programs go farther, and enables more people to participate in the vitality of dance.

Here's what your support enables:

* Dance & Health Initiatives: DTI's Well-Dance programs are reaching hundreds of Older Persons, as well as people living with Parkinsons disease and Dementia. As leaders in the Dance & Health arena, our evidence based methods offer creative pathways to increased mobility, confidence, joy, and quality of life. Our simple mission: Transforming peoples' lives through dance.

* Participation: DTI's Centre for Dance in Dun Laoghaire is a magnet and catalyst for dance activity. Since its opening by President Mary McAleese this professional state-of-the-art Dance Studio provides a creative space where the public (ages 3-93) can experience a range of dance classes and activities. We aim to share the vibrancy of dance with as many people as possible.

* Outreach & Education: We conduct Ireland’s largest Educational Outreach programme in dance, giving workshops to those who might not otherwise experience dance in school, youth and community groups across the country. Through our award-winning DANCE Performance Outreach Programme we fight obesity, develop creativity, foster confidence, teamwork, self-discipline and body awareness. Over 65,000 participants to date.
