Well-Dance for Seniors
Well-Dance is a dance course for people age 55+, putting music & movement together in a recipe for feeling wonderful! All classses are "do as you are able, and take place both in person and on Zoom internet platform.
Enjoy this Class which will guide you through a series of simple, modern and creative dance movements & exercises focusing on musicality, expression, rhythm and flow while improving your balance, fluidity, flexibility and strength. These dance sessions will empower you in a refreshing and enjoyable way.

Dance Theatre Ireland (DTI) in association with Move4Parkinson’s offer
these modern dance classes for People with Parkinson’s, their families and care-partners. Focusing on musicality, rhythm, expression, connection, and joy, this 1 hour “do as you are able” activity promotes freedom of movement and creativity. DTI is part of the Dance for PD membership programme, a dance programme which is proven to improve physical and emotional well-being for people with Parkinson’s in over 100 communities around the world.
The “Dancing Well With Parkinson’s” project is kindly supported by HSE National Lottery Funds.

This “live in person” gentle dance class is inclusive of people with Dementia and their family / care-partners. Focusing on musicality, rhythm and expression, this 1 hour “do as you are able” activity promotes joyful well-being for everyone. DTI is part of the HSE Living Well with Dementia CHO 6 programme, a community-based project that supports people wth dementia to continue to live at home and participate in their own community. Venue is Holy Family Parish Hall, Kill Avenue, Dun Laoghaire.

Vintage Youth is DTI's Seniors Dance Ensemble formed by participants in Dance Theatre of Ireland’s Well-Dance for Seniors classes. They perform in Theatres and for Special Events.
‘Wisdom Moves’ reflects on significant experiences, touchstone moments and insights on life and living. Recently, Vintage Youth members also performed with members of Dublin Youth Dance Company to present 'The River of Now' at their 2019 dlr LexIcon performances. DTI Artistic Directors Robert Connor and Loretta Yurick choreograph and collaboratively direct the group.
